چکیده

BATTALION, 11th REGIMENT, AT SUBATHOO, IN 1873. By Surgeon-Major J, Tulloch, M.D., in Medical Charge. The growing interest attached to enteric fever and its seemingly increasing prevalence among British soldiers in India have led me to offer for publication the following account of a mild outbreak which occurred at this IIill Station last year. The fever was, at the time, ascribed to the bad quality of the drinking water, and this view of its causation is still entertained. To show reason for this opinion the following circumstances and conditions bearing on the etiology of the disease may be briefly referred to :? ls?.?Previous prevalence of the disease in the regiment elsewhere, and in other regiments previously occupying Subathoo.
